How do I access The Wall Street Journal online?
The Carthage College Hedberg Library has a subscription to The Wall Street Journal online.
Creating an Account
- Users must sign up for an account via this registration link for digital access to The Wall Street Journal.
- Enter your Carthage credentials on the Lincoln Log-in page.
- You will be taken to a page where you can create your own WSJ account. (The credentials you create will not change when you change your Carthage password.)
- Enter your "Account Type."
- Enter your First and Last Name.
- Enter your Email address (which will be your username).
- Choose a Password.
- Agree to the Privacy Notice.
- Click "Create."
- You will be asked many, many times to indicate preferences and interests. You may "Skip this step" for all of them to continue on to WSJ content.
- Once you have created an account you may access WSJ at www.wsj.com.
Accessing WSJ After Registration
- Navigate to https://www.wsj.com.
- Click "Sign In" in the upper right.
- Log in with your Carthage email address and the password you created when setting up your account.
Forgotten WSJ Password
- Remember that WSJ passwords do not change when your Carthage password changes (except when you initially register for your account).
- Navigate to https://www.wsj.com.
- Click the "Sign In" link in the upper right.
- Click on the "Forgot your username or password?" link.
- Enter your Carthage email address.
